International Rose Test Garden Maternity Session | Portland, Oregon

It’s always great to make long term connections with my wedding couples. Just last year, Lillie and Colin allowed me to document their intimate wedding at Hotel deLuxe in downtown Portland, OR. I was so excited to hear from them again this summer and to learn that they are expecting their first child!

Even though Lillie and Colin live in the Los Angeles area, they have quickly fallen in love with the city and all it has to offer. Over their past few visits, they have really grown to love spending time at the International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park; which is why it was the perfect spot for their maternity session.

We spent some time wandering through the beautiful rows of roses snapping photos and talking about how they are planning for the arrival of their baby girl. Hopefully I get to meet her when they take their next trip to Portland, this time, as a family of three.

It can be a little difficult to catch the International Rose Test Garden when it’s in full bloom but luckily their quick baby-moon lined up perfectly this year. Of all the times I’ve visited the rose garden before, I have honestly never seen it this full. I’m sure the amazing weather we’ve had this summer has definitely helped.
